AFGHAN Size: (approx.) 49" x 51" Hooks: Afghan hook size N or 15mm and Crochet hook size N Gauge: Afghan Knit Stitch - 6 sts and 7 rows = 2 inches Materials Use these colors or pick colors to match your decor! Red Heart Classic 4 ply yarn Color A - 24 oz White Color B - 16 oz Rose Pink Color C - 16 oz Cottage Garden (variegated) Color D - 3 1/2 oz. Mint Strip # 1 Afghan Knit Stitch (Make 1) With color A, ch 38. Work 36 rows A; 10 rows B; 36 rows C; 10 rows B; 36 rows A; 10 rows B; 25 rows C; and bind off. Strip #2 Afghan Knit Stitch (Make 2) With color C, ch 38. Work 36 rows C; 10 rows B; 36 rows A; 10 row B; 36 rows C; 10 rows B; 36 rows A; and bind off. Strip #3 Afghan Knit Stitch (Make 2) With color B, ch 11. Make 174 rows B; and bind off. Follow the graph and duplicate stitch on the White squares. Weave the strips together in the following order; Strip #2; #3; #1; #3; #2; Border With Color B work 2 rows of dc around, 3 dc in each corner.

PILLOW Size: (approx.) 12" x 13" excluding ruffle. Squares: Tunisian Knit Stitch (make 2). With color A, ch 38. Work 36 rows A and bind off. With color D, ch 38. Work 36 rows D and bind off. Work design in duplicate stitch on White square. Make inside pillow following the pillow instructions. Weave the squares together on 3 sides and insert the pillow. Weave last side. Ruffle Row 1: With color B, ch 3 in any corner sp. 2 dc in same sp as starting ch, dc in every st around working 3 dc in each remaining corner. Join with a sl st to top of first ch 3. Row 2: Ch 3, 3 dc in next sp, (corner), *dc in next sp; 2 dc in next sp; rep from *around, working 3 dc in remaining corners. Join with a sl st to top of first ch 3. Row 3: Repeat row 2 and fasten off.
